Surgery Partners Acquires Majority Ownership In Delaware Outpatient Center For Surgery And Two Physician Practices
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Surgery Partners announced the acquisition of majority ownership interest in Delaware Outpatient Center for Surgery (DOCS) in Newark, Delaware. The multi-specialty facility, which opened in 2005, provides same-day surgical services including ENT, GI, general, gynecology, urology, and pain management.
DOCS, an ambulatory surgery center (ASC), offers high quality surgical care in a state-of-the-art facility. Over fifty physicians utilize DOCS, thirty of which are partners, committing their skills and expertise to the patients of Newark and the surrounding cities.
