Tableau's integration with PowerPivot gives users increased productivity and efficiency

SEATTLE, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Tableau Software, the global leader in rapid-fire business intelligence software, today announced that its 5.2 release will offer native connectivity to Microsoft's new in-memory engine, PowerPivot. Users can drill from Tableau to PowerPivot data sources for deeper, browser-based analytics and can even embed the same data visualizations in the SharePoint 2010 portal. People can access DAX calculations with Tableau or create new calculations directly in Tableau.
