Tagspire Reveals That UGC Has a Higher CTR Than Social Ads in Q3 2015 Results
The social commerce app confirms the power of word-of-mouth for brand building and online shopping by revealing a higher click-through rate (CTR) from consumers promoting their favorite products compared to Facebook ads generated by brands.
AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tagspire, a social commerce app developed by Quantomic, empowers users to instantly make their lifestyle shoppable by enabling them to generate content with a buy button that directs their followers right to the products seen in their photo. The app is one of the first to provide measurement for consumers organically promoting brands through monetized content. Quantomic found that Tagspire's posts had a 1% CTR in Q3 2015, which is 4% higher than the .96% global CTR of highly-targeted Facebook ads that were cited in Nanigan's Q3 2015 Global Facebook Advertising Benchmark Report.
Karim Hijazi, Founder and CEO, explains, "We're excited to see our high-fidelity metrics starting to validate the power of social commerce. After launching our native app 6 months ago, our CTR is an early and proven indicator that UGC does drive higher engagement for brands. We seek to provide standardized marketing reporting for consumer content that can drive more effective social promotions."
Quantomic is currently working on the next iteration of app updates that will continue to increase acquisition and enhance relevancy to achieve even higher engagement rates. The company's goal is to provide Tagspire users a platform that inspires them with product recommendations from the friends and network they trust most, while providing brands more transparency in the social commerce space that can better connect them with their biggest brand advocates.
