(NYSE: SKT) and Simon announced today that Tanger Outlets Columbus will celebrate the new center's Grand Opening on Friday, June 24 kicking off at 10 a.m. with an official ribbon-cutting hosted by Steven B. Tanger, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tanger Outlets, Stephen Yalof, CEO of Premium Outlets, and Drew and Jonathan Scott from the hit show, Property Brothers, as well as state and local officials. The Grand Opening, which will benefit Ohio-based Flying Horse Farms and a local children's hospital, will run through the weekend and will capture the spirit of American style.

In addition to special savings and fashionable giveaways, the weekend's activities include a design workshop with the Property Brothers, a festival featuring free Ferris Wheel rides, games and entertainment for the whole family, and a Marvel Superhero Saturday for kids to watch their favorite superheroes save the day.

The Scott brothers have invested nearly 15 years in the real estate industry and have a knack for finding down-and-out fixer-uppers and turning them into perfect properties for clients on their shows and with this opening, Tanger visitors will have a chance to meet and get advice from the duo, live and in-person.

On Saturday, June 25 Tanger will host Superhero Saturday with two live performances and a Meet & Greet scheduled at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The Tanger Family Festival will run throughout the weekend and shoppers are encouraged to visit the TangerStyle Instagram Lounge to win big.

The project has already had a positive economic impact on the area through the creation of more than 400 jobs during the construction phase. The completed center creates more than 900 full and part-time retail management and sales positions.

The new Center will feature over 80 upscale brand name and designer outlet retailers including: Ann Taylor Factory Store, Nike Factory Store, Banana Republic Factory Store, American Eagle Outfitters, Talbots Outlet, Gap Factory Store, Loft Outlet and many more.

The new fashion destination will be located at the Routes 36/37 interchange off Interstate 71.
