GREENSBORO, N.C., Nov. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. (NYSE: SKT) celebrated the Grand Opening of Tanger Outlets Daytona Beach with an official ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m. ET today. The event was hosted by Steven B. Tanger, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tanger Outlets, Drew and Jonathan Scott from the hit show, Property Brothers, as well as local community leaders.

The Grand Opening ceremony was presented by Marc Bernier of WNDB Radio, with remarks delivered by Mayor Derrick Henry, President and CEO of the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce Nancy Keefer, Volusia County Chair Jason Davis, and Executive Director of Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Lori Campbell Baker. The ceremony program included a donation to the NASCAR Foundation.

The ceremony was followed by festivities that will go through the weekend with the Frosted Fun Zone inviting families to take part in holiday themed activities, entertainment and more. On Friday Nov. 18, Tanger will offer shoppers a chance to meet real estate experts Drew and Jonathan Scott from noon to 2 p.m. during an exclusive design presentation, where the brothers will share their design-on-a-budget secrets with the audience. On Saturday, Nov. 19, Tanger Outlets Daytona Beach will host a Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m., featuring social media sensation and teen music star Jacob Whitesides, followed by a Holiday Fireworks Spectacular show at 9 p.m.
