Tapad Adds Two Key Senior Hires Amidst Aggressive Expansion

NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Tapad, the leader in cross-platform ad technology, has responded to a significant uptick in demand for its services by more than doubling its sales force in recent weeks. Two new key Sales executives have now joined Tapad, including PJ Miele, formerly of AOL Advertising (AOL) and Kimberly Waichulis, formerly of MediaMind (DGIT). Both are senior sales executives who, combined, managed more than $300 million in business in their previous roles.

Miele is launching Tapad's offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco as the new VP of West Coast Sales. Miele was previously running AOL's largest sales team in the Western U.S., and was a member of the senior leadership team. His purview included AOL properties, Advertising.com, Video and Mobile. Previously, he held national sales roles at Experian and Yahoo!. Miele earned his B.A. in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
Waichulis is based in Chicago and, as VP of the Central Region, is leading the company's aggressive expansion throughout the region. Waichulis joined Tapad with more than 13 years of experience in pivotal sales roles for emerging technology companies and has already established new Tapad offices and robust teams in Detroit and Chicago. She most recently served as Regional VP, MediaMind (formerly Eyeblaster). Prior to that, she held senior roles at TradingPartners and VisaNow. She earned her degree in Business Management & Organization Behavior from Benedictine University and attended the University of Iowa with a focus on English.
Both Miele and Waichulis report to Andrew Slome, Tapad's head of Sales. Tapad's notable growth continues, with more than 30 open positions throughout the country.
