TE Connectivity Receives Global ACE Awards for Creative Excellence

SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland, May 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- TE Connectivity Ltd. (NYSE: TEL), a world leader in connectivity, today announced that it received two first-place Global ACE awards from the Business Marketing Association (BMA) for its Wearables integrated marketing campaign and the electronica 2014 trade show experience. The awards were presented on April 29, 2015, in New York City.

The BMA Global ACE awards honor the creative campaigns that each year promote innovations that create real and lasting change, transform the way people do business and shape the dynamics of commerce. The winning TE campaigns showcase TE's leading connectivity and sensor solutions:

• The Wearables integrated campaign reaches engineers involved with the ideation, development and design of wearable electronic products. The creative outlines how humans are connecting with technology in new ways where engineers and designers are collaborating early in the process to bring a shared vision to life. The campaign employs social media, digital media, web, paid promotion and public relations.
• TE's exhibit experience at electronica 2014 – the leading trade fair for electronic solutions – aimed to educate, allure, engage and excite customers, engineers and industry innovators. The TE experience celebrated the collaborative spirit of engineers and featured TE's connectivity and sensor solutions using interactive displays including TE's transparent car (see photo) which pinpoints more than 80 components. The components showcase TE's broad capabilities that include but are not limited to the connected car. As a leader in sensors, the over 100,000 attendees at electronica were able to create an individualized "sensor scape" that featured TE's sensors.
