Teledyne DALSA Expands Dynamic Flat Detector Series to Benefit Clinical Procedures

WATERLOO, Ontario, Nov. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company and global leader in digital X-Ray image sensing technology, will introduce its new dynamic flat X-Ray detector at the RSNA 2013 Technical Exhibition, December 1 to 5, 2013, at McCormick Place in Chicago. Teledyne DALSA's latest advances in CMOS-based detectors for real time, low dose medical diagnostics will be on display in South Hall, Booth #5104.

The Xineos-1515 features Teledyne DALSA's next generation CMOS image sensor technology and delivers an unmatched combination of high sensitivity and high dynamic range operational modes from a single detector. This latest Xineos detector features a pixel with 99 Micron resolution and a switchable saturation dose where X-Ray technicians can choose between high sensitivity and extended dynamic range depending on the requirements of the procedure. The extended Field of View (FOV) allows surgical teams a wider and more comprehensive overview of an operating scene. This high-speed, low-power detector is capable of real-time (30 fps) imaging without the need for forced air or liquid coolers, which makes it an ideal choice for fixed as well as mobile interventional C-Arms, Fluoroscopy and 3D Orthopedic imaging systems.
