Venture capitalist, philanthropist and Next 10 founder Noel Perry will be the keynote speaker on November 2. Next 10 is a trusted source of insights into the growth of California's green economy, including the economic benefits of its climate change policies. State Architect Chet Widom will speak at the keynote breakfast on November 3.
Dozens of concurrent education sessions will highlight best practices and strategies behind successful green school programs. Topics will include Prop 39 energy efficiency case histories, water conservation, Zero Net Energy buildings, environmental literacy, electric school buses and funding sources.
Pre-Summit training workshops will be offered on November 1. The New Buildings Institute will host a workshop on Zero Net Energy school retrofits, open to registrants at no cost.
