'The Hills' Star Lo Bosworth to Publish a Dating Advice Book with Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers

NEW YORK, May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers announced today that it will be publishing reality show ingenue Lauren "Lo" Bosworth's dating survival guide, The Lo–Down.  The Lo-Down will include Lo's own trials and tribulations in the dating world, as well as offer advice that she garnered from being a helpful source of guidance for her friends, including some of her co-stars on "The Hills." The Lo-Down will go on sale in January 2011, with a first printing of 100,000 copies.

Lo has certainly witnessed her fair share of really bad dating and has also experienced a lot herself. As a star on two popular reality shows, she is no stranger to relationship drama and what comes with it. Now, she is sharing anecdotes from her experiences (and her friend's love lives, too) from the relationships that you've been enthralled with on both "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills." Filled with all of the personal photos, insider dish and drama that you've wanted to see from these shows, The Lo-Down is a further glimpse into the lives of the people that have been a main-stay in popular culture for years.

Born and raised in Laguna Beach, California, Lauren "Lo" Bosworth grew up in the public eye as one of the stars of MTV's LAGUNA BEACH. After two seasons, she left the show to attend UCLA, where she earned a B.A. in Art History. Following graduation in 2008, Lo appeared on the LAGUNA BEACH spinoff THE HILLS, where she quickly became a rising reality star. THE HILLS, currently in its sixth season, is the number one show on MTV and rates as one of the top shows across all cable networks. Lo has appeared in Seventeen Magazine, US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, OK magazine, Life & Style, Orange Coast Magazine, and Glamour.
