SANTA ROSA, Calif., March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Greater Bay Area Chapter is thrilled to be launching its 2016 North Bay Man & Woman of the Year fundraising campaign on March 10, 2016 at its Kickoff Party at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. This year the North Bay campaign has four candidates competing to raise funds for blood cancer research and cures.
The Man & Woman of the Year campaign is an annual 10-week fundraising competition between community leaders united by one goal: to use their leadership skills to raise funds to help blood cancer patients live longer and more fulfilling lives. The four candidates are competing in honor of the 2016 North Bay Boy & Girl of the Year, Marlon V. from Calistoga and Haley G. from Novato, respectively, who are both blood cancer survivors. Every dollar counts as one vote and the titles are awarded to the man and woman with the most votes at the end of the campaign.

The North Bay Man & Woman of the Year campaign will culminate at the Grand Finale Celebration on May 19, 2016 at the Jacuzzi Family Winery.
