Third Point Reinsurance Ltd. Appoints David Govrin Executive Vice President, Underwriting for Third Point Reinsurance (USA) Ltd.
HAMILTON, Bermuda, April 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Third Point Reinsurance Ltd. (NYSE: TPRE) ("Third Point Re" or the "Company") announced today that David Govrin has been appointed to the position of Executive Vice President, Underwriting for Third Point Reinsurance (USA) Ltd., effective April 10, 2017.

Mr. Govrin brings more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry to his new role. Prior to joining Third Point Re (USA) Ltd., Mr. Govrin served for the past seven years as Vice President for Berkshire Hathaway's Reinsurance Group, where he was a key member of the underwriting team. Immediately prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway, Mr. Govrin founded an insurance private equity fund focused on specialty insurance underwriting and distribution as well as a convergence focused reinsurance intermediary. Prior to that, he spent the majority of his career as a senior executive at Goldman Sachs and Guy Carpenter.
