Top Industry Leaders Named as Keynote Speakers at 2016 HOW Design Live

NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- HOW Design Live (HDL), the largest annual gathering of creative professionals from around the world, brings together creators from design, art, culture, tech and business to share their personal stories and accomplishments. The biggest, most inspiring, educational and talked-about design event anywhere takes place May 19 – 23, 2016 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

- Stefan Sagmeister (@sagmeisterwalsh) – Co-Founder and Partner at Sagmeister & Walsh, Sagmeister has designed for clients as diverse as The Rolling Stones, HBO and The Guggenheim Museum. He has been nominated eight times and finally won two Grammies for the Talking Heads and Brian Eno & David Byrne package designs. He is also the recipient of virtually every important international design award.
- Debbie Millman (@debbiemillman ) – Cited as "one of the most influential designers working today" by Graphic Design USA, Millman is a designer, author, educator, and strategist. She serves as President/CMO of Sterling Brands, President Emeritus of AIGA, Co-Founder and Chair of the world's first Masters in Branding Program at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and host of the award-winning Design Matters podcast. She has worked with more than 200 of the world's largest brands, and she's also the author of six books on design and branding.
- Tiffany Shlain (@tiffanyshlain) – Emmy-nominated filmmaker, author, and public speaker. Regarded as an internet pioneer, Shlain is the founder of the Webby Awards and the co-founder of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. She lectures globally on filmmaking, and has spoken at various TED Conferences. Shlain delivered the keynote address for UC Berkley's commencement ceremony in May 2012; and the speech was included on NPR's list of "The Best Commencement Speeches, Ever." She was recently named by Newsweek as "one of the women shaping the 21st Century."
- James Victore (@JamesVictore) – A graphic artist, author and activist who teaches creatives how to illuminate their individual gifts to achieve greatness, Victore is widely known for his views about design and it's place in business and the world. He reaches thousands with his Burning Questions video series, and his work has helped such clients such as Adobe, Starbucks, and The City of New York, among many others.
