Toyoda Gosei to Establish a Company for the Production and Sales of Rubber and Plastic Components in Brazil

KIYOSU, AICHI, Japan, Feb. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kiyosu, Aichi; President: Tadashi Arashima ) is establishing a new company in Itapetininga, State of Sao Paolo, Federative Republic of Brazil.  The company will handle the production and sales of rubber and plastic components.

With the prospect of expanded production in the South American region and a rising demand, the new company is being established to supply rubber and plastic components.

This will be Toyoda Gosei's first production venture in Brazil and the South American region.

The new company name will be GDBR Industria e Comerico de Componentes Quimicos e de Borracha Ltda.  (Abbreviation GDBR)  The established date is March 2013 and Start of Production will be November 2014.  Capital investment is 90 million real.  Shareholders are Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd at 94.8% and Others 5.2%.
