(OTCQB: UBIQ) ("Ubiquity" or the "Company"), a technology development and licensing company that holds an extensive portfolio of patents across multiple technology market verticals, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has now granted the Company three key patents covering their groundbreaking technology for Video Compression and enhancement and wireless communications for the medical industry.
The three patents are the following:
- U.S. Patent No. 8, 938, 535 B2 – covers Medical Scan Clip-on – a device that scans medical parameters and communications via a cell phone; the cell phone can communicate the parameters to remote locations and/or can analyze them
- U.S. Patent N. 9,106, 925 B2 – covers WEAV Video Compression System – A compression system using super compression
- U.S. Patent No. 8, 929, 434 B2 – covers Video Enhancement Internet Media Experience in Converting High Definition Formats to Video Formats – an image or video from a cell phone is processed to expand the image in a way to display it on a high definition video screen
