Univar Announces Distribution Agreement with Swati Spentose for Lidocaine Products

REDMOND, Wash., Oct. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Univar Inc., a leading global chemical distributor, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Swati Spentose Pvt. Ltd. to become its exclusive distributor of Lidocaine products, including Lidocaine Base and Lidocaine HCl in the United States. Univar is announcing the partnership at CPhl Worldwide Oct. 22 – 24 in Frankfurt, Germany, where it will be showcasing its pharmaceutical portfolio and technical expertise.

The agreement with Swati Spentose Pvt. Ltd. includes distribution in the United States and Puerto Rico for both Lidocaine Base and Lidocaine HCl. The products are used in a variety of anaesthetic and antiarrhythmic applications in the form of topical, oral, transdermal and injectable products.
