US Department of Homeland Security Awards Contract to One Resonance Sensors for Evaluation of Checkpoint Security Electronics Scanner

SAN DIEGO, May 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) has signed an agreement valued at $3,003,383 with One Resonance Sensors, LLC (ORS) to evaluate the company's MobiLab® ES checkpoint security scanner, which detects explosives in electronic devices. The agreement funds the evaluation of the scanner at a number of government facilities in the US and Europe.

The new measures slowed security checkpoints and inconvenienced passengers, who were delayed or forced to surrender their electronic items.
