WASHINGTON, Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) exercised the first option year of a task order awarded to Hill Associates Corporation (HillASC, Inc.) to provide Information Technology (IT) management and technical services related to enterprise infrastructure, networking and telecommunications. These professional services will support the DOJ Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The five-year contract has a potential value in excess of $65 million if all option periods are exercised.
"We are honored to have been selected for this important work and look forward to building upon more than a dozen years of support for the DOJ national security, law enforcement and justice system component missions," said Kelsey W. Hill, company president.
The Hill Associates team will continue to provide program and project management, systems engineering, and technical support services related to the Department's wide area network (WAN), voice modernization, and other network infrastructure initiatives. Additionally, the scope of support has expanded into key strategic areas related to innovative cloud and mobility based services, information security, data center consolidation and end user computing.
"This is an exciting time to be involved with IT as advances in cloud, mobility and next-generation networking technologies provide a foundation for transformational initiatives," said Hill. "Furthermore, the requirement for DOJ and all government agencies to transition their GSA Networx telecommunications contracts to the NS2020-EIS contract in the coming years will accelerate change."
Hill Associates serves as prime contractor and has partnered with a highly experienced team of subcontractors that include Booz Allen Hamilton Corporation, Intelligent Decisions Inc., Dexisive Corporation, and eMentum Inc. for portions of the task work.
