US Fleet Tracking Devices Help Retrieve Stolen Vehicles

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- While it may appear more like drama reserved for the silver screen, use of GPS tracking devices has taken on real-life appeal, both with individuals and corporations large and small. Recently, this fact was magnified in two separate instances with the recent theft and quick recovery of two commercial trucks from two different companies.

The vehicle, stolen in Weatherford, Okla. could be seen on the web-based tracking platform traveling hours away in Texas. J&L's dispatcher communicated the live whereabouts of the truck to police, who went straight there, surprising the thief. The truck was back at company headquarters within 48 hours and the thief arrested.
