Vencore Awarded Deal of the Year Honors by the National Capital Region Association for Corporate Growth
CHANTILLY, Va., May 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Vencore, Inc. announced today that the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) in the National Capital Region awarded it the Deal of the Year Award (between $50 million and $250 million) for its 2014 acquisition of QinetiQ North America Services and Solutions (QNA SSG). The prestigious award was presented at the annual ACG Awards Gala on April 30.
In May 2014, The SI Organization, Inc. purchased QNA SSG, nearly doubling the size of the company to more than $1.2 billion in annual revenues. The combined companies rebranded as Vencore in July 2014 after closing the transaction to create a business with 4,000 employees and a culture of respect, accountability, dedication, continuous improvement and integrity.

The deal expanded Vencore's existing customer set from the intelligence agencies, the U.S. Air Force and DARPA, to include significant positions with NASA, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy and the Department of Homeland Security among others.
In December 2014, Vencore was also named the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Top Tech Company of the Year with more than $50 million in annual revenues and listed on The Post 200 as eighth in number of employees and eleventh in revenues in the Washington, DC Metro Region.
