Vuzix and XOEye Technologies Deliver Largest Commercial Roll-Out of Wearable Technology to Lee Company

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Jan. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI), ("Vuzix" or, the "Company"), a leading supplier of video eyewear and smart glasses products in the consumer, enterprise and entertainment markets, is pleased to announce that the company and XOEye Technologies, a leading enterprise wearables solutions company that is reshaping industrial business processes and data capture, have launched the successful commercial roll-out of wearable technology with Lee Company, a $150 million comprehensive residential and commercial heating, cooling, appliance and facilities solutions company. Vuzix, XOEye and Lee Company will be at CES® 2016 this week in Las Vegas showcasing the solution in the Vuzix booth #14048 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Initially, 500 Vuzix M100 Smart Glasses bundled with XOEye's custom applications, including telepresence, and its proprietary, cloud-based Vision® platform, have shipped to Lee Company for their field service technicians remote work environments and for internal stakeholders. The solution facilitates real-time communications for Lee Company's technicians, provides attachable video-to-electronic service tickets and greater transparency to its customers, enables real-time remote support and access to subject matter experts, and creates additional daily workflow enhancements to its internal and field services teams across the region.
