Walter Investment Management Corp. Announces Appointment of Denmar J. Dixon as Chief Executive Officer and President

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Walter Investment Management Corp. (NYSE: WAC) ("Walter Investment" or the "Company") today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Denmar J. Dixon, the Company's current Vice Chairman of the Board, Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President, as CEO and President effective October 10, 2015. Mr. Dixon succeeds Mark J. O'Brien, the Company's Chairman and CEO, who is retiring from his role as CEO, effective October 10, 2015. Mr. O'Brien has agreed to continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors through year end and the Company expects to benefit from his continued service as a director thereafter.
