Well-known Chinese Brand CoolPad Shows at 2014 CES Exhibition with Its Multiple 4G Products

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which is held once every year, will be opened from Jan. 7 to 10 in Las Vegas. As the biggest global consumer electronics show, all major manufacturers have started to prepare for it. Multiple 4G New Products to Show at CES

CES is the biggest annual exhibition for consumer electronic products and technologies in the world. For CES this year, there will be over 3,200 manufacturers participating, forming 15 product categories and 20 technology regions. It is estimated that there will be over 20,000 new products launched. At CES 2013, Coolpad released multiple big screen quad-core products, and exhibited the first product in the North America market that supported LTE-4G. And this year, its products that are about to participate in the CES will reach over ten which exclude the accessories products. Compared with last year, its products are 3 times more.

The products of Coolpad that will participate in this year's exhibition include: the Coolpad Flo and Coolpad Quattro II, which are targeted at the American market; the 4.5-inch big screen cell phone 8860U and 5-inch 8870U, targeted at the European market, and the 5.95-inch quad-core cell phone 9190L, 5-inch quad-core cell phone 5892, and Coolpad Daguan 4. Besides, WCDMA series products include the 7-inch octa-core cell phone (Halo), 5-inch HD screen dual-core 7920, 5.5-inch screen 7298L, colourful 7295C, 4.5-inch ultra-thin cell phone 9150W, and two popular cell phones - 7231 and 7060. Accessories include the portable 4G broadband Wi-Fi device and charger EBC100A, Coolhub2, CoolTV, Coolwatch, and Coolmini, and more.

The First 7-inch Octa-core Cell Phone is about to Be Released

The official launch of Coolpad Dashen is the most attractive point of Coolpad at CES. It is the cell phone with a brand-new MT6292 octa-core processor. It is also the first 7-inch intelligent cell phone equipped with a real octa-core processor. Before that, it has already attracted attention from lots of users and industry insiders.

Coolpad Halo has a 7 inch 1920*1200 resolution display screen and a MT6592 octa-core processor. It supports WCDMA+GSM dual-card and dual-standby mode and is configured with 2GB memory and 8GB memory plus micro SD card expansion. It has a 1300/500 pixels built-in camera, NFC and HDMI, 4000mA battery, and Android 4.2.1 operation system.

Steady Development of Overseas Market Strategy

Based on the positive development during the past years, Coolpad has steadily developed its overseas market. In the North American market, it cooperated with American operator MetroPCS and released the first LTE-4G cell phone, the "QUATTRO," and realized a 1.2 million sales volume. In 2013, Coolpad obtained a great breakthrough in the overseas market based on its strategy and established cooperative relations with European operators like Davofone and French Telecom. Currently, the first LTE product produced under cooperation with Davofone will be launched in multiple European countries soon.
