Last week, ICANN assigned the pornography industry with a new suffix specifically for pornographic sites. The decision was made in hopes that it would help users get better results when searching online.

The decision stirred mixed feelings on both sides of the coin. Some porn distributors were happy to welcome the concept while others felt that it put a stigma on the porn industry by separating them from the rest of the online community.
