Wolf Trap Announces First Of Summer 2014 Performances

VIENNA, Va., March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announces the first set of performances for its highly anticipated 2014 Summer Season.  

• Lionel Richie and CeeLo Green make their Wolf Trap debut for a two-night stand of blockbuster "All the Hits All Night Long" tour
• Classical highlights include the National Symphony Orchestra with icons Yo-Yo Ma and Jean-Yves Thibaudet
• The Philadelphia Orchestra returns to Wolf Trap for its only 2014 metro D.C. appearance
• Jazz highlights include the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, and Pat Metheny on a bill with fellow Grammy-winning artist Bruce Hornsby
• Expanded dance offerings include Pilobolus; Noche Flamenca; the final D.C. performance of the Trey McIntyre Project; and, in a Face of America™ program, debuts of the Oregon Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet, featuring a world premiere Wolf Trap commission

As America's only National Park for the Performing Arts, Wolf Trap celebrates all genres of music in its 16-week summer season, welcoming all with a priority on accessibility and affordability.
