New features: Authentication, USSD, WebGui
The public version of YateBTS 2.0 supports the following authentication algorithms:
- MILENAGE for a 3G-style authentication
- COMP-128V1 for 2G authentication
The private version of YateBTS 2.0 also supports the 2G COMP-128V3 authentication algorithm. YateBTS can support standard 2G authentication or 3G-style mutual authentication depending on what is supported by the phone.
This is first production support for USSD in an OpenBTS derivation. USSD can be used for:

The authentication and USSD features are important steps for roaming support that will be implemented in the next release.
Both public and private release of YateBTS offer a new web-based management tool. From the WebGui users can:
- manage subscribers
- configure the base station transciver
- setup trunk connections to the outside world
