York International appoints Godfrey to pivotal property, engineering and construction role

LONDON, Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- York International, a subsidiary of York Risk Services Group and a part of York Specialized Loss Adjusting, has appointed Marc Godfrey to continue the development of the firm's property, engineering and construction product lines within its home foreign operation based in London.

As Associate Technical Director he will be responsible for the development and delivery of claims services for direct markets and reinsurers, including contractor all risks, engineering and property. His expertise will complement the current product lines which include financial institutions and professional liability.

Godfrey is a highly experienced international construction and engineering adjuster. He joins York International from a well-regarded adjusting firm, where he was International Director Global Technical Service (GTS), based in Mexico City. Previously, he was based in Brazil and was also a former Construction Director in London. Before entering loss adjusting in 1998, Godfrey trained as a quantity surveyor working both in the UK and overseas, most particularly Middle East.
