Yuxi Pacific Announces Mobile Remote Deposit Capture for iPhone

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Yuxi Pacific Group, an international software consulting firm with offices in the United States and China, today announced their newest innovation, a customizable Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) iPhone application (app). Financial institutions that purchase the application will be able to immediately offer RDC services to any customer with an iPhone.

Yuxi Pacific's offering will allow small to medium sized financial institutions to join the host of companies seeking to take advantage of the iPhone's popularity among banking consumers. Bank of America is the latest financial institution to announce a mobile RDC initiative. About 40% of Bank of America's mobile-banking customers use iPhones or one of the iPod Touch devices, according to Douglas Brown, Bank of America senior vice president of mobile product development.

"Banking customers register their mobile phone and account number with the bank, and then download the application from the iTunes store. Then, using the app, they can use their mobile device to capture the checks and deposit them directly into their account without a trip to the bank."
