Member Surgeons to be Featured on the Aesthetic Website Platform
IRVINE, Calif., June 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ZALEA, a unique consumer destination for judiciously selected information about aesthetic procedures, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the leading professional organization of board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons, today announced a digital media and content sharing agreement, the first of its kind for both parties.
Under terms of the agreement, ASAPS will license proprietary content to ZALEA, including member physician listings, before-and-after photos, original blog content from its Smart Beauty Guide, videos from The Aesthetic Meeting, infographics, statistical data and cosmetic procedure information and education. As a component of the agreement, ASAPS members will receive discounted subscription rates for detailed physician profiles, (basic listings will be complimentary to ASAPS physicians), a special promotional outreach program, as well as increased exposure through ZALEA's growing Internet ecosystem.
"A key aspect of the mission of ASAPS is to serve the public interest by providing accurate and timely information regarding aesthetic plastic surgery. To that end, we seek to make use of the best channels of contemporary communication," said James C. Grotting, MD, President of ASAPS. "We are therefore delighted to collaborate with ZALEA to expand our online reach and offer the patient community access to featured referrals via our ASAPS Advantage Provider program, in addition to ASAPS-produced education and information."
Louis Scafuri, ZALEA CEO, said, "At ZALEA, we understand that timely and trustworthy content is essential to the growth of our aesthetic information ecosystem on the Web. As such, we are very pleased to announce our multilevel agreement with ASAPS, North America's premier organization of aesthetic plastic surgeons. This agreement will bring consumers access to a rich source of authoritative content about aesthetic procedures, as well as featured information about practicing aesthetic surgeons and the services they offer. ZALEA is honored to collaborate with ASAPS."
