Zehl and Associates Announces 2015 Accident Survivor Scholarship Winners

HOUSTON, July 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The personal injury lawyers at Zehl and Associates, PC are pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Accident Survivor scholarship award: Alec Dunbar of Texas Tech University and Joshua Ontell of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. The scholarships were established in early 2015 to provide $1000.00 of renewable financial aid to one well-deserving university student and law student who were the victims or had family members who were victims of major accidents.

Candidates can apply for the 2016 scholarship by submitting a one to three page essay detailing the impact that a personal or family-related accident has had on their daily lives, how they persevered and overcame the attendant physical, financial, and emotional hardships, and what they believe can be done to prevent similar accidents in the future. Eligible candidates must be 18 years of age, a US citizen, and maintain a current GPA of 3.0 or higher (or place in the top 1/3^rd of their law class).
