Zymo Research Initiates Beta Test of Microbiomics Products

IRVINE, Calif., May 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Zymo Research Corp. announced today the final stage of testing for their new reference materials that help researchers obtain the most accurate and unbiased workflows from sample collection to analyses. The rapid growth of the study of microbiomes has increased the demand for researchers to have standard methods to improve the reproducibility and quality of the data being generated. Biases inherently exist at every step of the measurement process including collection and extraction techniques; therefore, there is a great need for the adoption of reference materials to identify and eliminate measurement bias.
