BATTLE of the STRANDS, The First Extreme Salon Competition, Announces the Launch of Its Third and Biggest Event Season Yet
LAS VEGAS, March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Battle of the Strands (BOTS) is launching its grandest event season yet with events in Las Vegas, NYC, Orlando, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Included in the launch is the announcement of its TV deal with prominent producers, High Noon Entertainment.
The announcement will be made this weekend at America's Beauty Show in Chicago, sponsored by FROMM and Bhumi Makeup Brushes. Proudly making the announcement is celebrity stylist, Shear Genius judge, 2011 winner of BOTS, and Schwarzkopf headliner at ABS this year, Kim Vo . In addition, last year's winners, Glam Alliance from Minneapolis, MN, will be showcasing their talents with several models on hand.
Amongst myriad good news from BOTS is its TV special and developing series with strategic partner and TV producer, High Noon Entertainment. High Noon is known for such shows as Cake Boss, HGTV'd, House Hunters, and is scheduled to deliver more than 25 series, specials, and pilots in 2013.
This year BOTS expands its reach to Puerto Rico and Mexico. Partnering with media giant Televisa Publishing and Digital (189 magazines with a circulation of 174 million in 20 countries) this event season promises many eyes on its unique format and display.
Battle of The Strands is the first extreme hair, makeup, and wardrobe salon competition. Twelve teams qualify through extreme and challenging elimination rounds. Ultimately the final five will compete in Las Vegas on October 14, 2013 for the championship title. Celebrity and industry icons will be the final judges deciding the teams' fate!
