e-Nabler's eMobilePOS and iAPS® Improves VIP Dining Experience

The exclusive Mercedes-Benz Club is a private bar and restaurant that is available to amphitheater Box Suite holders and VIP guests. The Club is a luxurious area for box ticket-holders and corporate sponsors to relax with its own dedicated staff to assist patrons looking for an upscale and unique theater experience.

The Operating Challenges
One of the most appreciated perks offered in the Club is table-side service, allowing guests to avoid long lines at the concession stands for drinks and meals. Previously, servers would manually hand-write orders on slips of paper and deliver them to the bar or kitchen for preparation.

Problems arose, delays became inevitable, and operating challenges became operating barriers during peak hours. Diners regularly became irritated by slow service and mix-ups. The back-and-forth to the kitchen and bar alone was exhausting and time consuming and would lead to confusion in the kitchen resulting in longer wait times.

The Complete Solution
The operators of the amphitheater found a solution in e-Nabler's e-Mobile POS software, and the iAPS Sled. This mobile POS combination turns any iPhone, or iPod touch into a fully functional complete mobile POS terminal with integrated magnetic stripe reader, smart card reader, bar code scanner, and receipt printer all built into one device.

The iAPS Sled allows wait staff to send orders to the bar and kitchen, managers to oversee operations in real-time, and payments to be processed securely and receipts printed right at a customer's table through the eMobile POS system. A process that previously took 7 steps is now cut down to 3 easy steps. Credit cards never leave the customers' sight while payments are being processed, virtually eliminating the opportunity for fraud and theft.

Narrowing the ordering process down allowed the amphitheater to increase productivity, and increase sales.  "We are excited to help Tuscaloosa Amphitheater create a great experience," said Rene Oliver, CEO of Daily Systems. "The iAPS and eMobile POS solution helped decrease order time and labor resulting in happy customers which ultimately increased sales."
