Galenfeha Completes Successful Testing Of Solar Power Station

BEDFORD, Texas, Oct. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Galenfeha, Inc. (OTCBB: GLFH), is pleased to announce that the Company has completed successful field testing of its portable, solar regenerated power supply station.

Galenfeha conducted field-testing for a major petroleum production company in the Haynesville shale area of Louisiana.  The company's client was seeking a viable solution to power a chemical injection pump station.  The location historically has been very problematic due to conventional battery failures and has not allowed for natural gas to be processed on a consistent basis.  The test was orchestrated in an incredibly rigorous environment that required the battery array to consistently deliver stable voltage and current in a cyclical manner 9 times per minute for 2.2 seconds, 24 hours per day.  This regimen is substantial in that it allows very little time for battery chemistry to recover to resting voltage before it is taxed once again. It should also be noted that utilizing the Galenfeha system reduced the ratio of batteries in the array by over half the original lead acid quantity.  The end result over a 60+ day period was zero replacement or maintenance of the Galenfeha product on location verses the replacement of 12 batteries at the sister location less than a mile away.  The producer has since purchased the skid and has another on order.
