GIS and Rhoads Online Expand Strategic Partnership

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Rhoads Online Institute™ (ROi™ www.rhoadsonline.com) and General Information Services, Inc. (GIS, www.geninfo.com) will expand their strategic partnership by disclosing plans today to offer company background checks along with individual checks run through ROi's Professional Compliance & Requirements Management™ (PCRM™) system, a Web-based compliance risk management solution.  The announcement was made at the opening of the 2010 National Educational Conference of the Securities & Insurance Licensing Association (SILA, www.sila.org), held here.

The alliance formed in 2008, between GIS and ROi to allow insurance organizations to conduct their new employee on-boarding process easier and with greater certainty through the integration of select GIS services with ROi's PCRM system.  The new offering will permit background checks of insurance entities to be done through PCRM, a capability of keen interest to insurance carriers and managing general agencies (MGAs) that seek to establish business relationships with brokers and agencies with solid business reputations and history.  As is the case with individual checks, company-level checks will be done by way of eQuest+, GIS' proprietary Web-based screening technology for submission and retrieval of background reports.
