Millions of drinking-age Americans believe food is the key to hangover relief, with almost half (46 percent) saying they eat to relieve a hangover**, according to a survey conducted by Kelton for Red Robin. Foods that the 21-and-over demographic name as top hangover cures are eggs (51 percent), breakfast meats (49 percent) and burgers (45 percent) – all included on The Cure Burger. Just over one third (34 percent) also include french fries and 30 percent put cheese on this list. Yummm!

With New Year's festivities quickly approaching, 62 percent of those with hangover experience admit they have experienced New Year's Day hangovers in the past. Ringing in 2015 might be just as promising: with nearly three quarters (71 percent) of adult drinkers planning to imbibe this New Year's Eve, it's possible they will meet the same fate.

Door Busters
Additionally, the holidays offer little reprieve on the wallets as well. Forty percent of respondents express a need to recover from paying bills and 27 percent say the same about shopping for holiday gifts.

Social Exhaustion
Busy busy – the social side of the holiday also takes its toll as nearly one in five need recovery time from visiting family (19 percent) and too many commitments (16 percent) as the season ends.
