The Phoebe Cowles Center for Comprehensive Pain Treatment will offer a holistic approach to pain management by bringing together in one clinic physicians, psychiatrists, nutritionists, as well as non-traditional forms of medicine, physical therapy and spiritual practice.
"The Phoebe Cowles Center For Comprehensive Pain Treatment is a first-of-its kind clinic in the San Francisco Bay Area that offers a comprehensive and holistic approach to addressing pain," said Kevin Causey, President of the Saint Francis Foundation. "I am very pleased to support the pioneering work in pain treatment being done at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital," Ms. Cowles said. "Dr. Hong and his team are renowned leaders in the field of pain treatment, and their interdisciplinary approach will help many more people like me manage persistent pain.
