2011 Esurance Tennis Classic Releases Schedule of Events

MILL VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Esurance Tennis Classic finalized its all-star lineup and schedule of events for this year's event.

Held at Mill Valley's Harbor Point Tennis Club, The Esurance Tennis Classic allows tennis fans to enjoy an up-close view of pros mixing it up with amateurs and collegiate players in a variety of formats. The event benefits To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation and Youth Tennis Advantage. Joining the Bryans at this year's event are:

• 17-time Grand Slam Doubles winner and 2010 Hall of Fame Inductee Gigi Fernandez
• Two-time U.S. Open winner Tracy Austin*
• Current ATP superstar and 2010 AEGON Championships winner Sam Querrey* (Querrey is appearing in place of the injured John McEnroe)
• French Open Doubles winner Murphy Jensen
• The Stanford men's tennis team, which joins the women's team for the first time to compete in the World Team Tennis Shoot-Out

Schedule of Events

Friday, September 23

• From 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Bay Area youths will participate in the Youth Tennis Advantage Kids Day and USTA's Quik Start Clinic with the pros at the Harbor Point Tennis Club for 90 minutes of instructional tennis. Members of the public are welcome to watch from the stands.
• From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. there will be an invitation-only Welcome Cocktail Reception that will bring together players, sponsors, and VIPs at the Harbor Point Tennis Club.

Saturday, September 24

• Gates to the Harbor Point Tennis Club will open to public at 9:30 a.m.
• From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. there will be a Player/Sponsor Pro-Am, featuring pros paired up with amateurs in doubles matches on multiple courts.
• From 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., The World Team Tennis format will take place with pros teaming up with the Stanford men's and women's tennis teams in singles, doubles, and mixed-doubles competition with no ad-scoring.
• The Tennis Village and Food Court Open will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a variety of great food, refreshments, and sponsor and product booths for fans to enjoy.

Sunday, September 25

• Gates to the Harbor Point Tennis open to public at 10:00 a.m.
• From 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. there will be an exhibition match with Stanford players. From 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. World Team Tennis Shoot-Out will take place featuring Sam Querrey, the Bryans, Tracy Austin, and the Stanford men and women players.
• Immediately following the matches there will be an awards ceremony with the presentation of the Classic Cup to the winning team  Autograph session with players to follow.
• The Tennis Village and Food Court Open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Adult General Admission tickets are $35; Adult Reserved Seats are $75; and an Adult Weekend Pass is $50. Free parking and shuttle service will be available to all Esurance Tennis Classic attendees.
