2012 CMA Awards Nominations Video Highlights Package Featuring Final Nominees And Artist Interviews To Be Serviced Wednesday, Sept. 5

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The final nominees for "The 46th Annual CMA Awards" will be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 5. A video highlights package (VNR), featuring the announcements, as well as artist interviews and music video clips, will be released via satellite Wednesday, Sept. 5 at (2:30 PM/ET). In addition, the VNR will also be made available via FTP download.

Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum will announce the final nominees in five CMA Awards categories live from the "Good Morning America" studios on ABC. The announcement will air in the 8:30 AM half-hour segment (all time zones) of the morning news program. Following the announcement, at 9:15 AM/ET, Aldean and Lady Antebellum will head over to B.B. King Blues Club and Grill  to announce the finalists in the remaining seven categories. The last time all of the CMA Awards nominees were announced in New York City was 2005.

The announcement of the final nominees leads up to "Country Music's Biggest Night™." Hosted for the fifth time by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood , "The 46th Annual CMA Awards" airs live Thursday, Nov. 1 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on the ABC Television Network.
