2nd Annual Insurance Industry Hedge Fund Investing Summit
-- April 23rd event brings together insurance industry and asset managers for discussion on hedge fund investing --
NEW YORK, March 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Titan Advisors announced today that it will be hosting its 2nd Annual Insurance Industry Hedge Fund Investing Summit on Thursday, April 23rd in New York City.
Building upon the success of their inaugural event, Titan has teamed with Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management and Wellington Management to increase the Summit's footprint this year. Presenters will come from across the insurance industry, including some of the largest allocators to hedge funds.
The objective of the full-day agenda is to create a dialogue among insurers and industry advisors regarding the advantages of hedge fund investing, the role they can serve in an insurer's portfolio, and the challenges insurers may face when building out their exposure. Titan believes hedge funds are likely to become a more meaningful allocation for insurers given the continued low rate environment and the potential for increased volatility in the equity markets.
Speakers will include industry leaders Rob Leary of TIAA-CREF Asset Management, Chris Paolino of Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO), Mike Mazzola of MetLife, Neal Soss of Credit Suisse, and Ed Toy of The National Association of Insurance Commissioners. Presentations and panel discussions will cover a variety of related topics, including the state of the hedge fund and insurance industries, regulatory and rating agency perspectives, hedge fund manager selection, and portfolio construction
The event is free of charge for insurance carrier investment professionals, compliments of Titan Advisors, Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, and Wellington Management.
Capacity is limited to 200 guests.
