MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Minnesota's largest art fair is marking its 54th year with a lineup of internationally recognized artists, performances, youth artists, a culinary arts competition, charitable partners and more.
During the Uptown Art Fair, visitors can browse original art by nearly 350 artists, including sculpture, drawing, glass, painting, jewelry, wood, ceramics, photography, mixed media and more. The Uptown Art Fair runs Friday, Aug. 4, from 12-8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Hennepin Avenue South and The Mall in Uptown, Minneapolis.
This year's commemorative artist is Uptown resident and photographer Nicole Houff. This year's commemorative print, Houff's "All Dolled Up and Going Uptown," will be sold in two sizes exclusively at the official Uptown Art Fair merchandise tent during the Uptown Art Fair for $15 and $25.
Uptown Art Fair goers can also participate in the "All Dolled Up" social media campaign. Dioramas with Barbie at art fair-related scenes, such as the youth art fair or performance stage, will be scattered throughout the fair grounds during the weekend. Visitors can follow the Uptown Art Fair's social media channels for clues on where to find the dioramas, then snap photos of each and post to social media using the hashtag #AllDolledUptown. Participants will be entered to win a 2017 commemorative print.
Along with artist booths, the Uptown Art Fair offers various special events and activities, including:

Local food and art celebrities will judge the final creations.
