NEW YORK, March 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- SnapKeys (www.snapkeys.com), inventors and developers of the revolutionary SnapKeys 2i text and data entry system for smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices announced today that they will reveal how SnapKeys 2i works in a most unexpected manner.
Since its launch in January, viewers of the SnapKeys homepage video have been left spellbound by the unusual site of fingers typing on a blank screen. SnapKeys 2i clearly provides the only solution to the critical problems of the traditional keyboard; which covers most of the screen and it forces people to endure a frustrating and unworkable typing experience. On March 22nd visitors to CTIA as well as to www.snapkeys.com will find out, at last and can download the video.
In preparation for the public launch at CTIA, SnapKeys has commissioned an innovative usability study. 5th graders at the Orange County elementary school in Popka, Florida, near Orlando, spent half an hour a day for 3 days typing on SnapKeys 2i. The key findings of the study confirmed that:
- 5th graders could blind-type instantly
- They had fun and considered it like a game
- After one hour they were so advanced that they were already teaching their teachers and the principal
Benjamin Ghassabian, CEO of SnapKeys Limited, chose an elementary school as the setting for the usability study to not only prove how easy and intuitive SnapKeys 2i is, but to fulfill his vision to start a worldwide revolution in data entry – starting with children.
