Additionally, the popular zoning format has expanded to make locating business partners as easy as possible."
As a further reflection of growth in the global pharma market, CPhI Worldwide expects visitors and exhibitors from more than 140 countries. This includes two new Global Pavilions, one for Malaysia and one for Russia. Overall, a record of fifteen country pavilions will be represented at CPhI Worldwide including Asian API market leaders from China and India, as well as Korea. Pavilions for Argentina and Brazil spotlight the two largest economies in South America. Europe is highlighted by pavilions for the UK, France, Ireland, Scotland, and Portugal, while North Africa, Egypt and Morocco represent Africa. The North American pavilion also returns, featuring support from Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Associates (SOCMA) for the first time.
The pavilions are further supported by global partnerships with the India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF), the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Malaysia's MATRADE. Also complementing the global expansion of the event, a series of geography focused lunchtime educational sessions will run each day with keynote presentations from event partners, China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export & Export of Medicines & Health Products (CCCMHPIE) and India's Pharmexcil.
