92-Year-Old Boise Area Veteran Gets a New Lease on Life in Time for Memorial Day
EAGLE, Idaho, May 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Buster "Bus" Hudson, a 92-year-old World War II veteran, athlete and bull rider, gets a new lease on life after a devastating car crash left him injured and severely depressed.
Suffering from tremendous back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and hip pain as a result of the car accident in November, Bus sought help from his medical doctor and physical therapist, but to no avail. "Nothing worked. I had seen my physical therapist 8 to 10 sessions and got no results whatsoever, so I gave up," explained Bus.
His wife, on the other hand, didn't give up, and eventually found the Ideal Spine Health Center in Eagle, Idaho, offering revolutionary pain relief through advanced chiropractic care.
Bus was delighted to finally receive the type of care he could only hope for, experiencing a real difference after only his first visit, and complete pain relief from his injuries throughout the course of treatment.
"I feel like this clinic has given me a new life, in fact, I think it saved my life. I was getting so down and everything," said Bus, who is now looking forward to reaching his next milestone of 100 years. Prior to visiting the Ideal Spine Health Center he admitted that he was in such a poor state of mind and physical pain that he couldn't imagine living another six months.
Bus Hudson quit high school at 16 to help his family during the Great Depression and eventually served in Patton's 3rd Army 16th Armed Division in Germany during World War II. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge, a surprise offensive that resulted in the United States forces suffering their highest casualties for any operation during the war.
After the Army, Bus kept active and remained active until November 2014 when he got severely injured in a car accident outside of Boise. Throughout his life, Bus enjoyed taking part in sports such as running, football and bull riding, and while he gave most of them up as he got older, he admitted he never truly gave up bull riding until he was 89.
Today, Bus Hudson enjoys an active life once again, and looks forward to commemorating Memorial Day weekend alongside his wife and family, remembering all the brave men and women who have served this country and made priceless sacrifices for generations to come.
