Seen through the eyes of everyday traders, transporters, laborers and those who work at ports, manage customs and administer systems, the film is a portrait of what is happening on the ground in Africa today.
From the state of the art commodity exchange in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, to the floating villages of Ganvie in Benin and the spectacular port of Beira in Mozambique, the film crisscrosses Africa to show how things are moving and taking shape.
Created by the award-winning production house Camerapix/A24 Media, and produced for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, this 75-minute feature is beautifully filmed and scripted and provides stories and insights into trade and the movement of goods, services and people across the continent.
