A Reinvigorated Conference Program for the Beauty and Health Industries HBA Global Brings Extensive Conference and Exposition to New York

SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- HBA Global, the Health & Beauty Aids Expo and Conference, celebrating its 21st Year,  presents an all new conference program at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, in New York City, June 10-12, 2014. The three-day, business-to-business conference includes expanded sessions offering more concentrated learning across 5 tracks: marketing, packaging, branding, market trends, and innovations in beauty and health aids. In addition, more indie and global brand case studies will offer real world perspective from such industry leaders as Estee Lauder, Nars Cosmetics, tarte, The NeoStrata Company, and others. 

The HBA Global exposition brings together more than a hundred exhibitors in the beauty and personal care industries, with contract manufacturers and suppliers with innovations in packaging, ingredients, materials, and services. The show joins the long-running, co-located UBM Canon advanced design and manufacturing trade shows, which include EastPack, PharmaPack, Medical Design & Manufacturing East (MD&M East), Atlantic Design & Manufacturing, Automation Technology East (ATX East), and PLASTEC East.

During the expo, on June 11, 2014, HBA Global will honor the best in packaging design with its annual International Package Design Awards (IPDA), specifically focused on packaging for beauty and personal care. Award categories include mass or prestige cosmetics, fragrance, personal care, skin care, as well as hair care, innovations in sustainable packaging, and more. The finalists and winners will be prominently displayed in the IPDA Showcase located on the exhibit floor, during the event. Past winners include Aveda, Bath & Body Works, Burberry Cosmetics, NYX Cosmetics, Olay, Physicians Formula, Pravana, Sephora, and Yves Rocher.

Visitors can also learn about what's trending in the industry at the Trend Theater which takes place on the exhibit floor and offers free content and demonstrations from industry experts, research companies, and beauty brands.
