SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Able Services, the largest family-owned provider of building maintenance, engineering, and facility operations in the United States, announced today a series of executive leadership promotions. These appointments will strengthen Able Services' West Coast operations while also further aligning the company's leadership team to support its continued evolution into a truly national services provider.
To further bolster the company's West Coast operations, Able Services has promoted Jeff Dachenhaus from Branch Manager to Regional Manager – Downtown San Francisco and Mark Nolan from Branch Manager to Regional Manager – East Bay. The promotions are effective immediately.
Headquartered and founded in San Francisco more than 90 years ago, Able Services' 17,000 employees nationwide service more than one billion square feet of real estate daily. Able's clients include Commercial Class A office properties, campuses, hospitals, data centers, financial institutions, governmental agencies, utilities and retail/entertainment venues, among others. The company's West Coast operations are among the largest in its national portfolio.
"Further strengthening our West Coast leadership team in the city where it all began will be key to better meeting the needs of our clients, staying ahead of industry trends and driving continued growth in the region and beyond," said Paul Saccone, Chief Executive Officer of Able Services. "With their longstanding commitment to our organization and unrelenting focus on client service, we have every confidence in Jeff and Mark's abilities. We congratulate them on their well-deserved promotions."
Both Dachenhaus and Nolan are long-time veterans of Able Services and together oversee approximately 50 million square feet of space in Northern California. They have both been integral to growing and retaining Able's existing clients and ensuring exemplary client service. Most recently, they were instrumental in negotiating and finalizing a citywide collective bargaining contract with the local janitors union, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 87. Additionally, they both bring considerable expertise in servicing technology-focused clients – a key growth area for the company.
Dachenhaus and Nolan have been with Able Services for 13 years and 8 years, respectively, and have served in various roles with increasing responsibility. In their new roles as Regional Managers, Dachenhaus and Nolan will be responsible for overseeing Able's Building Maintenance customers in San Francisco's Central Business District and East Bay area, respectively. Specifically, they will focus on delivering upon Able's contract requirements, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring the financial health of the company's operations in their respective regions.
Dachenhaus and Nolan will partner closely with Aaron Corrales, Vice President for Silicon Valley and Sacramento, to ensure Able Services' clients in Northern California continue to receive an unmatched level of customer service and expertise.
In addition to these changes, Able Services is also announcing the departure of Derek Schulze, who is leaving the company effective October 16, 2016 to pursue other professional and personal endeavors. With the continued leadership and involvement of Dachenhaus, Nolan and Corrales, who already manage the vast majority of client engagements in the region, Able Services will ensure a strong continuity of service and a seamless transition for its clients.
"Our West Coast leadership team is well positioned for the future," added Saccone. "Jeff, Mark and Aaron are consummate professionals, team players and exemplary leaders in our industry. Their dedication to client service will be integral to our long-term success in the Bay Area, throughout the West Coast and beyond."
