Acano Once Again Expands Interoperability Without Touching The Customers' Preferred User Experience

LONDON and ORLANDO, Fla., March 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Acano, a 'Best of Enterprise Connect' Finalist, today revealed enhancements to the company's Intuitive Interoperability Platform at Enterprise Connect 2015.

Acano Intuitive Interoperability Platform 
Enhancements to Acano's Intuitive Interoperability Platform include:

• Acano Open – Acano Open allows organizations to extend the power of an existing Lync deployment without imposing changes to user experience or workflow. It allows Lync users to invite non-Lync users – such as SIP, H.323, Acano and WebRTC users – to their meetings without any modification to their normal workflow. With Acano Open, a Lync user can send a Lync invite, which allows anyone invited to quickly and easily join the meeting, regardless of the tool they're personally using.
• TIP Support – Acano has added support for TIP (Telepresence Interoperability Protocol), which allows customers to deliver a full 'native' user experience for immersive multi-screen telepresence systems, such as the new Cisco IX5000. This includes support for continuous presence and directional audio across all three screens in full HD (1080p) resolution.
• H.323 Support – Acano provides support for H.323, the original and most widely deployed VoIP protocol in enterprise and carrier markets. The delivery of H.323 support extends the native reach of Acano's solution to devices such as video conferencing systems from vendors like Polycom, Cisco and Lifesize.
