Accenture Innovation Trip Puts Brazil in the Cross-Hairs of Silicon Valley
Next week a group of LIDE JOVEM business leaders will be traveling to Silicon Valley, one of the wealthiest regions in the United States, to exchange experiences and disseminate entrepreneurship between Brazilians and Americans
SAO PAULO, Oct. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- To leverage business and investments, the Accenture Innovation Trip, an initiative of LIDE JOVEM - [Grupo de Jovens Lideres Empresariais - Group of Young Business Leaders], led by Andre Martins and LIDE INOVACAO [Group of Business Leaders in Innovation], led by Roger Ingold, the CEO of Accenture, will be taking a group of 20 young business leaders to share their knowledge and experience with Brazilian and American entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, California between October 29 and November 4.
The participants in this enriching trip, among them representatives of companies such as Braspress, Cisa Trading, Innovative Management Consulting, Proxis and Santander, will visit Stanford University and companies such as Apple, Google, IDEO and 500 Startups. "This is an opportunity to generate business and investment in the world's leading innovation center. It is a trip to learn about business management and an initiative to foster an entrepreneurial culture in Brazil" explained Andre Martins, the President of LIDE JOVEM.
Program
The group of Brazilian executives will visit well known companies and startups such as Endeavor Global. A pioneer in the concept of high impact entrepreneurship in emerging markets and in growth, which transforms economies by selecting and supporting high potential entrepreneurs.
The trip will also include a visit to Google, one of the greatest phenomena in online services and software, and Apple, considered to be one of the leading companies in the world, with a unique reputation in the consumer electronics industry.
The group will also visit Accenture, a company that for 20 years has helped clients transform innovation into results, IDEO a design company that has received awards all over the world, and 500 Startups, which incentivizes startups.
Completing the agenda of visits, the participants will visit Badgville, a global leader in gamification whose behavioral platform enables measuring and influencing user behavior, and Silicon House, a business hub for Silicon Valley entrepreneurs.
To further reinforce the concept of entrepreneurship proposed by the event, the Brazilian business leaders will spend an afternoon at Stanford University, one of the world's most important teaching and research institutions. There they will attend the DFJ Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders seminar with some of the leader in business innovation.
