DALLAS, June 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 1,500 ACE locations participated in the 2014 Give a Little Campaign, a national in-store fundraiser that supports local organizations chosen by ACE associates. This year, ACE raised $358,251 for charities across the nation.
During this campaign, ACE's major markets chose to support the local chapters of AdoptAClassroom.org, American Red Cross, Back on My Feet, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club, National Down Syndrome Society and the Stars Scholarship Fund. Throughout the month of May, ACE associates solicited customer donations and 100 percent of the proceeds go directly to these organizations.
"Our associates work hard to serve their communities in a variety of ways," said ACE CEO Jay Shipowitz. "Not only are they providing industry-leading financial services, but they also raise money for charities and provide hundreds of volunteer hours each year."
This campaign was made possible thanks to the generosity of customers and the hard work of ACE associates. The Give a Little Campaign is a part of ACE's corporate-giving program, the ACE Community Fund. Since its inception in 2004, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $8.5 million to charities across the nation and continues to empower the communities it serves.
